
Privacy
Your privacy is very important and the content of therapy sessions is confidential. Notes are kept in a secure place at all times.
Supervision is essential to successful therapy and so your therapist will discuss your situation with a supervisor, which is also confidential. In group supervision cases may be discussed and these are always anonymous.
In the event that the therapist believes that a person poses harm to themselves or others they may be referred to a mental health service and the police. This is part of the duty of care that your therapist has towards you and the community.
